About
Welcome! My name is Sara Wolfson and I have my Bachelor of Sciences degree in Child and Family Studies from Lesley University. I have worked as an Education Assistant for 3.5 years, including 1.5 years at Tangent Elementary School. Prior to moving to Oregon, I lived on the East coast working in children’s retail and YMCA After School Programs.
I have lived in Lebanon for three years, the same length as my marriage. My daughter is two and a half and likes being with other children. Opening Creative Minds child Care is a logical next step for me because I love working with children and will work hard everyday to provide a stimulating and enriching environment for your child.
I am an Oregon licensed and registered home child care. Therefore, I will be following all of the Oregon State Laws as they pertain to home child care. In order to be a licensed child care facility, I have had to pass criminal and fingerprint background checks, be Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified, have my Food Handlers card, and complete 2 online courses in Child Safety. All of my substitutes have to complete the same process in order to care for the children in my absence.
Additionally, I am focusing on Preschool in the morning to help prepare children ages 3-5 for kindergarten. Please see Curriculum for more information.
